
A specialty of the food streets of Lahore, whole chicken is marinated in Kausar spice mix and refrigerated over night for best results. The chicken in then deep-fried in hot oil till golden red. A heavy sprinkle of Kausar Chaat Masala, a few drops of lemon juice and the dish is ready to be served.

- 2 quarter pieces of Chicken breast / thigh with 4-5 deep slits
- 1 tbsp of Kausar Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp of Kausar Garlic Paste
- 8 tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 1 packet of Kausar Lahori Chargha mix
Method
- Mix ginger, garlic paste, lemon juice and Kausar Lahori Charga mix. Apply the mixture
evenly to the chicken pieces and refrigerate over night or set aside to marinate for 3-4
hours. - Steam the chicken in a steamer till tender or in a deep pot place a steel sieve / plate
upside down and pour 1 cup of water. Place the chicken pieces on top, cover and cook
on low heat for 20-30 minutes or till tender. - Heat oil in a deep pan or wok and fry till golden and crispy.
