
A Popular street food dish, mutton or chicken pieces are cooked in spicy tomato gravy in a karahi (deep wok) hence it’s name, over high flame till the meat is tender. By adding Kausar’s aromatic spice mix to the meat, one can enjoy that classic flavor we all love so much. Garnished with slit green chillies, fresh coriander leaves and served with a bowl of zera raita and hot chapatti, the dish is a true taste of Pakistan’s street food culture.

- 1 kg Chicken / Mutton cut into small pieces
- 5 finely chopped Tomatoes
- 6 whole Green Chillies
- 2 tbsp Kausar Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Kausar Ginger Paste
- 1 cup Ghee / Oil
- 1 tbsp coarsely chopped Coriander Leaves
- 2 inch long juliennes of Ginger for garnishing
- 1 Packet Kausar Karahi Gosht masala
Method:
- In a pot add 2 glasses of water, meat, ginger, garlic paste and half packet of Kausar Karahi Gosht Masala. Cover and boil the meat until tender.
- Now in a wok heat ghee / oil and add tomatoes. Fry for 15minuites till the texture is thick and
creamy. Then add the remaining Kausar Karahi Gosht masala, boiled meat green chillies and stir
well. Cover and cook for another 5-10 minuites. - Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and ginger juliennes before serving.
