
A delicious combination of chicken pieces marinated in Kausar’s rich seasoning and yogurt mixture. This chicken is cooked in a buttery tomato and onion base gravy in a traditional clay pot over coal fire till the chicken is luscious and well cooked. Fresh cream is added to the dish to give it that creamy texture. Garnished with ginger and coriander leaves, the dish is best enjoyed when served with kandhari naan.

- 1kg boneless cubes of Chicken
- 6-8 finely chopped Tomatoes
- 200 gms Onion paste
- 1/2 cup Whipped Yogurt
- 2 tbsp coarsely chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 1/2 cup Ghee / Oil
- 1 Packet of Kausar Chicken Handi masala
Method:
- Mix Kausar Chicken Handi Mix in yogurt and apply to the chicken cubes. Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Boil the tomatoes in 1 2 cups of water for 10 minutes or till soft and tender. Sieve to remove skin and seeds. Keep the tomato puree aside.
- In hot oil add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and onion paste. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes or till oil separates.
- Stir fresh cream, chopped coriander leaves and melted butter. Remove from heat and serve in clay or brass pot.
